Governess Required - Excellent Position for an Experienced Nanny/ Au-pair
As a Governess, the primary requirements of your role are to maintain a child-safe environment around the station homestead/compound area, provide child-care out of school hours as required by management and carry out other station duties as required.
We are a family of four, with one energetic, sociable and curious two-year old girl and two-month-old baby boy.
You’re great at being supportive, collaborative and a key team contributor.
You need to be caring, patient and creative.
You need the ability to think beyond reflexive behaviours and be able to work dynamically to ensure the best outcome.
You need a preference for working collaboratively in a team environment.
You focus on, and personally care about, ensuring the family home is calm and consistent.
You are an effective communicator and are open and transparent.
You will need a genuine interest in working with children to inspire their learning and assist their development.
You must be willing to be involved in outdoor, child-friendly activities such as leading a pony, collecting eggs and generally playing outside.
You will be expected to work in and around our family unit at home (and occasionally away).
The official stuff – You will need a Senior First Aid Certificate, a Working with Children Check (including National Police Check).
